Welcome to Baby Toes & Chardonnay!
I'm new to this whole blogging deal, a little rusty around the edges as some would like to call it. My name is Samantha, or better known as: Sam, Sammy, Sambeau, bobo, skiwana, or rambo sambo (I'm a little feisty). I'm 28 years old and I'm married to my best friend and high school sweet heart of 9 years (Go Bears!). We were blessed with our son Carter Scott on February 3, 2010. We live in our little bungalow in the midwest with two (or maybe one an a half, depending on how smart you consider them) German Shepherds, Suka and George. They own our house. Yes. Own our house. I'm a nanny for 2 fantastic kids, which takes up a lot of my time, besides my own. I might have my hands a tad bit full, but I can juggle it all, while drinking Chardonnay (or Pinot Grigio, or a nice cab, or... well you get the picture). Try me.
Instead of explaining to all of you beautiful people what I have been up to the past 12+ months, I thought it would be better to give you a glimpse of my life.

Furry Beasts. Or little ponies (as my friend liz likes to call them). Or Mastodon's (as my friend Mike likes to call them). Whatever you call them, they are my "first" babies.
Did I mention that this will also consume my life for the next 4ish months?!

That's enough about me. I'll be back in a few days with some fun updates (including: a few halloween costume ideas to shove Mr. C in, yummy wine favorites, a couple recipes, etc.).
